Asus ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) breaks ground in Russia, costs $123
Asus introduced today a new member of the ZenFone Go family with a
traditionally unwieldy model name. The ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) is a more
powerful version of the ZenFone Go (ZB452KG) which launched in May.
It's still a member of the
company company's affordable lineup so the upgrade still brings the ZB450KL to
a Snapdragon 410 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 306 GPU
and 1GB of RAM.
The phone's display remains
4.5" in size with a modest 854x480 pixel resolution. Internal storage is
8GB, but it's expandable via the phone's micrOSD card slot.
The headline of the Asus ZenFone
Go (ZB450KL) is its LTE cat.4 support that's good for a speed of up to 150Mbps
up and 50Mbs down. At the back, there's an 8MP autofocus camera with f/2.0
aperture and LED flash. The battery is 2,070mAh.
The phone now launches in Russia
with one store selling it for $123 (RUB7990). Note that phone prices are
usually higher in Russia than in Europe and Asia, so the phone might cost a bit
less when its availability spreads. The cheapest ZenFone Go (ZC500TG) launched
for $80 in India back in the end of December
