Microsoft Surface Phone To Launch At IFA 2016 Featuring Unbeatable Specs
Microsoft is moving up the Surface phone launching, and it's known to be their latest flagship and this could be their ticket back to being number 1 in the mobile industry.
For the longest time, Samsung and Apple have been taking turns in garnering the top spot in the competitive smartphone market and consumers are going back and forth deciding which among them is truly the best. While there are other promising brands to choose from like LG, Asus and Lenovo, none of them are trying to make their case unlike Microsoft.
If you remember, the company has launched several decent Windows 10 smartphones in the past like the premium Lumia 950 and 950 XL handset. Microsoft even manufactured the mid-range flagships like the Lumia 650 and the Lumia 550 budget phone.
Lately, the company has decided to take a break on launching mobiles with a Windows 10 Operating System, but there are rumors circulating that Microsoft is going to launch something huge that may land it on the same spot as Samsung and Apple.
There have been rumors in the tech world that Microsoft is launching the Surface phone and this might be the company's major comeback in October. This is actually a good thing as it gives consumers a chance to try something new if the Galaxy Note 7 and the iPhone 7 fails to impress them.
Several sources suggest that the Surface phone is going to have 8 gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM) and 512 GB of internal storage equipped with Qualcomm's latest 830 processor or Intel's latest Atom processor. There are other reports claiming it will include USB Type-C ports, a 21-megapixel Carl Zeiss PureView camera and a 5.7-inch AMOLED HD display.
With those kinds of specs, the Surface phone is something that we can all look forward to. The excitement from consumers seems to have convinced Microsoft to move the Surface phone launching from October to September to compete with the iPhone 7. As we all know, IFA is the next big smartphone event and it's going to take place this September in Berlin this year.
